State govt has released Rs 4.83 crore for Bundelkhand development package

The state government has released Rs 4.83 crore for completion of seven projects in Bundelkhand region. The money has been released as part of the state’s share for the Bundelkhand Development Package and will be utilised for projects approved in Mahoba and Banda districts.

According to an official release of the state government, the money will primarily be used for construction of the connecting roads. The public works department (PWD) will be the nodal agency for the projects which include Duredi to Pehrawan road in Mahoba district (Rs 79.12 lakh), four-lane road between Banda and Behraich district on Nepal border (Rs 118.98 lakh), Banda to Hamirpur road (Rs 20.92 lakh) and road from Bada Gaon to Yamuna Ghat in Mahoba district (Rs 142.03 lakh).
