(News) Plant for processing Paneer with goat's milk in Khajuraho

Asia's first plant for processing Paneer with goat's milk will start operations from next month at the world famous Khajuraho in Bundelkhand region. MoUs for exporting this paneer to various European nations have already been inked. The plant is being set up with an estimated cost of Rs 38 crore, Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Production Commissioner, Abha Ashtana infromed in a meeting to review the Sagar Division's Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Horticulture department, official sources said today.

The plant is being established by the Noida-based Goatfresh Farm Private Limited for making paneer of goat milk. MOUs were already inked for exporting this paneer to various European nations by the company, she informed. The plant will generate direct employment for 300 persons and also to 200 other families that will provide raw material to the plant.
