(News) Akhilesh directs speedy construction of mandis in Bundelkhand

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today directed officials concerned to ensure speedy construction of wholesale markets under the Bundelkhand package for the benefit of farmers. Reviewing the works of the UP Mandi Parishad, the chief minister said that land has been made available for proposed agriculture mandis in Lalitpur, Hamirpur and Banda under the Bundelkhand package and it be constructed at the earliest. Similarly, he said that steps be taken for getting land for mandis in Jaluan, Jhansi, Chitrakoot and Mahoba districts.
