(News) Bundelkhand to have three power sub-stations

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav Friday laid the foundation stones for three power sub-stations in in the Bundelkhand region.

Two 33/11 kv electricity distribution sub-stations will be set up in Talbehta and Mehrauni and a 220/132 kv transmission substation will be built in Lalitpur.

The chief minister also inspected the fifth unit of the 250-MW Parichha thermal power station which began operations in July.

He directed the officials to ensure that the unit attained 80 percent plant load factor by October and 90 percent by November.
