For Kartik Mela Special train start form Chitrakoot
In view of the Kartik Mela which is going to be organised
during the Diwali festival, railway administration has made special arrangements
for the passengers at the Chitrakoot station coming under the NCR zone. Various
mela special trains will be plied from October 22 to 25 and the regular trains
have also been given additional stoppages during this period.
Two additional booking counters have been opened for the facility of passengers.
Four extra ticket examiners will be deputed at Chitrakoot station and two ticket
examiners will be deputed at Shivrampur station. Two doctors, along with a
medical van, will be stationed at the Chitrakoot station to provide medical
facility to the passengers. Adequate number of RPF and GRP personnel have been
deputed at this station to provide security to passengers.
One mela special will be plied between Jhansi and Chitrakoot station. It will
depart from Jhansi at 10:10 am and finally terminate at Chitrakoot at 4:55 pm
and will halt at various smaller stations along the route. During the
return journey, the train will depart from Chitrakoot at 6:15 pm and finally
reach Jhansi at 2:20 pm.
Another mela special will also be plied between Jhansi and Chitrakoot station.
It will depart from Jhansi at 7:00 pm and go through the route of Harpalpur,
Mahoba, Banda, and finally terminate at Chitrakoot at 00:40 am. It will depart
from Chitrakoot at 1:30 am and after passing through above route will terminate
at Jhansi at 7:25 am.
One mela special will be plied between Kanpur and Chitrakoot. This will depart
at 2:20 pm and after stopping at various stations will finally terminate at
Chitrakoot at 8:55 pm. It will depart from Chitrakoot at 9:30 pm and finally
arrive at Kanpur at 3:10 am.
Train number 11107/11108 Bundelkhand Express has been given stoppages of about 2
minutes at the station of Bahilpurwa, Shivrampur, Badausa and Ranipur stations.
Train number 12189/12190 Mahakaushal Express has been given additional stoppages
of two minutes at the stations of Shivrampur, Bharatkoop, Khurhand stations for
about 2 minutes.
