(Article) Ground Water Sinking Low in Bundelkhand

Aamir Hussain(Bandainfo.com),Banda,9th Jan 2008- From last few years there has been an unprecedented fall in the level of ground water in Bundelkhand region. This sinking of ground water has no importance for urban elite people but with the passage of time, the picture will become more clear. Every year, hundreds of people and thousands of fauna die due to scarcity of water. If this decrease in ground water keeps its pace then the situation will become worst in upcoming years. Following table shows the decrease in level of ground water in few districts of Bundelkhand region in last five years.
