Age requirement:
(i) B. A. / B. Sc. / B. Com. / B. B. A. / B. Pharm. / B.C.A./ B.Sc.B.Ed /
B.A.B.Ed./Bachelor of Fine Arts : Age should not be more than 22 years in case
of General (UR) / OBC Category and 27 years in case of applicants of SC, ST and
PC Categories as on 1st July, 2016.
(ii) B.Lib.I.Sc./B.J. the maximum age limit shall be 30 years for all categories
Qualifying Examination:
(i) B.A./B.Com./B.B.A./B.Sc./B.C.A./B.Pharm./ B.A. L.L.B.(Hons) B.A.-B.Ed. & B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated/Bachelor of Fine Arts(BFA):
Candidates seeking admission in above mentioned undergraduate programmes belonging to General (UR) and OBC categories must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination securing at least 45%* marks in aggregate or equivalent in grade (4.7 in CBSE/ICSE system) in their Qualifying Examination (QE) from a recognized Board/Institution.
(ii) B.A.LL.B. (Hon) (10 Semesters/5 Years):
Candidates seeking admission to this programme belonging to General (UR) and OBC categories must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination securing at least 45%* marks in aggregate or equivalent in grade (4.7 in CBSE/ICSE system) in their Qualifying Examination (QE) from a recognized Board/Institution
(iii) LL.B. (6 Semesters/3 Years) / B.J.:
Candidates seeking admission to this programme belonging to General (UR) and OBC categories must have passed his or her 10+2+3 or equivalent examination securing at least 45%* marks in aggregate in Qualifying Examination or equivalent CGPA or equivalent in Grade in Qualifying Examination from a recognized University /Institution.
(iv) B.Lib.I.Sc. :
Candidates seeking admission to this programme belonging to General (GC) and OBC categories must have passed his or her 10+2+3 or equivalent examination securing at least 50%* marks in aggregate in Qualifying Examination, or equivalent CGPA or equivalent in Grade in Qualifying Examination from a recognized University/Institution.

(i) For M. A. / M. Sc. / M. Com. / M. B. A. / M. Pharm. / M.
Tech (Applied Geology) / M. C. A. / MPA (Performing Arts): Age should not be
more than 27 years in case of general category (UR) and OBC candidates; and 32
years in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST and PC categories on 1 st July
2016.
(ii) For M. J. / M. Lib. I. Sc. / M. Ed.,/LL.M., the maximum age limit will be
35 years for all categories.
(i) M.Sc. / M.A./ M.Com./ M.B.A. / M.J. / MSW / M. Performing Arts (Theatre Arts) : Candidates seeking admission to any of the above PG programme belonging to General (UR) and OBC categories must have passed 10+2+3 or equivalent examination securing at least 45% marks (as mentioned in Table -2) or equivalent CGPA.
(ii) M.Tech. (Appl. Geology): Candidates seeking admission to this programme should have graduated with Geology as one of the subjects under 10+2+3 pattern with an aggregate of 45% marks or equivalent CGPA in the Qualifying Examination (QE).
(iii) M. Pharm.: Candidates seeking admission to this programme should be graduate in B. Pharm. with 60% or equivalent CGPA and valid GPAT are eligible for admission to M.Pharm. (iv) M.C.A.: Candidates seeking admission to this programme should have graduation in any subject with Mathematics at 10+2 level. Candidate should have passed with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in the Qualifying Examination (QE). (Refer Table No.2) from any UGC / AICTE approved Indian University or a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian University (AIU) or Institute recognized by concerned University as equivalent thereto.
(v) LL.M : Candidate must have passed LL.B. 3-Years after graduation under 10+2+3 pattern or five years LL.B. under 10+2+5 pattern duly recognized by the Bar Council of India and securing a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in the LL.B. Degree.
(vii) M.Lib.I.Sc. : Candidates seeking admission to M.Lib.I.Sc. must have secured 50% marks both in graduation as well as in B.Lib.I.Sc. Examination or equivalent CGPA.
(vi) M. Ed. : Candidates seeking admission to this programme should be graduate with 50% Marks or equivalent CGPA with any of the following : B.Ed./B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc. B.- Ed/B.L.Ed./D.L.Ed. As per the revised AICTE regulations 2014.
Entrance Test Fee:
(i) Fee for UGET & PGET :- The application fee for UG and PG Entrance test is Rs. 800/- for General, OBC and PC candidates and Rs. 400/- for SC and ST candidates. The benefit of fee relaxation will be given to the SC/ST candidates, subject to the submission of their caste certificate along with the application form.
(ii) Fee for PHDET:- The application fee for Ph.D. Entrance test is Rs. 1000/- for General, OBC and PC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC and ST candidates. The benefit of fee relaxation will be given to the SC/ST candidates, subject to the submission of their caste certificate along with the application form.
(iii) Fee of Rs. 50/- shall be paid by the candidate as portal fee to the MP online limited.
(iv) If a candidate wants to amend entries in his/her application an additional fee of Rs. 20/- shall be paid by the candidate as portal fee to the MP online limited within given time.
Procedure of Admission:-
(a) Admission through Written Test and Interview:
Those candidates who are not exempted shall have to appear in written test followed by interview.

Written test shall comprise of 200 marks (100 MCQ questions) and the interview shall be of 20 marks.

Candidates securing 90 and above marks (in case of Unreserved, OBC and PC candidates) and 80 and above marks (in case of SC / ST candidates) shall only be considered qualified and called for the interview of 20 marks.
(b) Admission only through Interview: The candidate exempted from written test shall be called directly for Interview. The following candidates are exempted from the written test.
(i) Candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR NET-LS/JRF
Examination;
(ii) A Teacher fellowship holder.

Select your payment gateway through MPOnline authorised KIOSK / Net Banking / ATM cum Debit Card /Credit Cards After payment, an application receipt will be generated

The Monitor ready copy of the application form will be displayed Student can check their payment receipts by entering Application ID and Date of Birth
Step 5:

Print the receipt of payment form filling Application Number and Date of Birth.

Keep two hard copies of the Application form and receipt with you.

Send one hard copy of Application form to the Coordinator, Admission Cell, Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar – (M.P.) 470003 and keep one copy with you which will have to be produced at the final counselling.
