Special train for Ashwin Amavasya Mela at Chirakoot Dham
ALLAHABAD: In view of the Navratri Mela at Vindyhachal, North Central Railway has decided to run a festival special train between Allahabad and Mirzapur. A special train is also being introduced between Kanpur and Chitrakoot Dham for Ashwin Amavasya Mela at Chirakoot Dham. There will be additional stoppages of some trains at Chitrakkot Dham during the mela.
Train number 1389A/1390A would run between Allahabad and Mirzapur from September 23 to 29. It would leave Allahabad at 10:30 am and reach Naini at 10:43 am, Meja Road at 11:10 am, Manda Road at 11: 34 am, Vindhyachal at 12:00 noon and reach Mirzapur at 12:20 pm. During the return journey, the train would leave Mirzapur at 1:10 pm and reach Vindhyachal at 1:20 pm, Manda Road at 1:46 pm, Meja Road at 2:04 pm, Naini at 2:36 pm and terminate at Allahabad at 3:05 pm. The train would have twelve coaches.
A special train between Kanpur and Chitrakoot is being introduced for the Ashwin Amavasya Mela. The train will leave Kanpur at 9:20 am and pass through the route of Govindpuri, Bhimsen, Kathara Road, Patara, Ghatampur, Hamirpur Road, Bharwa, Sumerpur, Ragaul, Akona, Ichauli, Khairar junction, Banda, Dingwahi, Khurahand, Artara, Bharatkoop, Shivrampur and terminate at Chitrakoot Dham at 3:05 pm. During the return journey, the train would leave Chitrakoot Dham at 4:30 pm, after passing through the same route, it would terminate at Kanpur at 10:35 pm. This train would run up to September 20.
Passenger train number 135A/136A between Jhansi and Banda has been extended up to Chirakoot Dham. This train would stop at all the stations between Banda and Chitrakoot Dham. In addition to this, train number 1107/1108 Bundelkhand Express has been given stoppages of two minutes at the stations of Bahilpurwa, Shivrampur, Badausa, Khairar junction and Ranipur Road. Further, train number 2189/2190 Jabalpur-Nizamuddin Mahakushal Express would halt at Shivrampur, Bharatkoop and Kurhund station for about two minutes till September 20.
